School of Hygiene-Mbale has produced many graduates who have gone out and have successfully occupied positions in the Public and Private Sector. In the Public Sector many graduates work with Ministry of Health, Ministry of Local Government, Ministry of Water and Environment, and Ministry of Gender and Social Welfare as: Public Health Inspectors, Public Health Assistants, Environmental Health Officers, Assistant District Health Officers-in charge Environmental Health, Assistant Commissioners and Commissioners.

In the Private Sector, many alumni work with International and National Non-Governmental Organisations like; WHO, ICRC, IRC, Water Aid, Lutheran World Federation, among others. Others are employed in Factories and Industries as; Occupational Safety and Health Inspectors, Food Hygiene Safety Officers etc.
