The Ministry of Education and Sports has released an official announcement inviting qualified candidates to apply for admission into various Health Training Institutions across the country for the 2026/2027 academic year.

This opportunity is open to individuals interested in pursuing Certificate, Diploma (Direct and Extension), and Higher Diploma programs in a wide range of health-related disciplines.

📌 Minimum Entry Requirements

✅ Certificate Programs

1. UCE with at least a D grade in key science subjects
2. Must be 18 years and above

✅ Diploma Programs

1. UACE with Principal passes in Biology and related sciences
2. Or a relevant health certificate with registration from a professional body

✅ Post Basic & Higher Diploma Programs

1. Must have:
2. A relevant health qualification
3. Valid practicing license
4. At least 2 years of working experience
5. Recommendation from employer (where applicable)

📝 Application Process

Applicants are required to:

1. Pick application forms from nearest interview centers
2. Fill and attach all required documents
3. Submit between 24th March and 30th April 2026 (working days, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

Interviews will take place from Monday 4th May to Friday 8th May 2026 at selected institutions, including:

2. Masaka School of Comprehensive Nursing

5. Arua School of Comprehensive Nursing
6. Ntungamo College of Nursing and Midwifery
7. Fort Portal School of Clinical Officers
8. Hoima School of Nursing and Midwifery
9. Jinja School of Nursing and Midwifery
10. Mbale School of Hygiene
11. Kabongo College of Nursing and Midwifery
